I have heard that drinking a capful of bleach will de-tox your pee, so you can pass a test.  Is this true? How long ahead of time should I do it?

I'm not sure why you are asking me this, but I am glad you did. NO, it will not do anything but make you really, really sick.

The only way to pass a piss test is to not do drugs for a week.  You can do that, can't you?  If you can't, even to stay out of jail, then you have a drug problem.  I don't care how much you tell yourself that you can take it or leave it, or that it's harmless fun, if you can't leave the pot alone long enough to pass a piss test, you have a problem.

Here's the important thing.  If your tell your friends that you have to pass a piss test, and they hand you a joint anyway, they are NOT YOUR FRIENDS. They are your drug-buddies.  If you want to have clean urine, you will have to leave these people. Find some proper friends to hang out with.  REAL friends will help you pass your piss test by keeping the drugs away from you, not by telling you to drink bleach.

Bleach is also useless as a medicine for preventing pregnancy or avoiding STD's.
